Palm Sunday Connection 4.5.2020

Church family, As I write to you this morning, hundreds, no thousands are dying.  I am truly sad, heartbroken.  Life is special.  Every life is special.  In the end we all may know personally someone who has died from COVID19.  The grip of death on our world will remain strong for the Easter week ahead.  My prayer has turned from my own protection to a world dying without Christ.  This again is why Jesus came.  Why Jesus being God-Man came to live among us, then died a sacrificial death for a broken world so that we could live, for those who believe and trust in Jesus to save them (John 3:16).  My prayer this week is that many will be saved from eternal death and be brought into Eternal Life through this pandemic. Thank you God for the resurrection!  Psalm 46

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,

though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High.

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns.

The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts.

The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

Come, behold the works of the Lord, how he has brought desolations on the earth.

He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the chariots with fire.

10 “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

NEED BLESSING AND COMFORT like I do? WIHS Christian Radio has a full week planned just for us.  STARTING TODAY! Their programming schedule is posted at https://www.wihsradio.org/index.php/programs/seasonal-programs/
Last evening Linda and I spent the $20 through Amazon to watch the new two hour movie, “THIS I BELIEVE,” the story of Christian recording artist Jeremy camp and his first wife Melissa. It is an INCREDIBLE love story of faith and power in prayer and what to do when God chooses not to heal.  It could have been the best $20 that I every spent.  Jeremy’s (Mercy Me) closing song in that movie kept me awake most of the night, rejoicing, praying, and clinging to Jesus for His deliverance, “Almost Home.”

How are you?  Please reply to this email with your testimony and prayer request.  Thanks.

Please send your offerings to: CLC, PO Box 91, Colchester, CT 06415. Thank you.
