As the sun rises, and sets, “We are one day closer to getting this thing behind us” – Bret Beir
Thank you each one who visit with us daily through these emails. God continues to bring us together. We are blessed.
Psalm 27 Of David.
7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry aloud; be gracious to me and answer me!
8 You have said, “Seek my face.” My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.”
9 Hide not your face from me. Turn not your servant away in anger, O you who have been my help. Cast me not off; forsake me not, O God of my salvation!
10 For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but the Lord will take me in.
11 Teach me your way, O Lord, and lead me on a level path because of my enemies.
12 Give me not up to the will of my adversaries; for false witnesses have risen against me, and they breathe out violence.
13 I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!
14 Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!
Palm Sunday is this coming Sunday
Planning a four Sunday APRIL Sermon Series: “UNPRECEDENTED DELIVERANCE” Read the Gospel of Mark’s account please, Mark, chapter 11, verse 1-11 and Romans 8:1 in preparation for Palm Sunday. (Unprecedented) “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
Peter Bass now has a beautiful and cozy apartment at 24C Dogwood Lane, Colchester. To get there wave “HI” to Steve and Millie Rawolle, then hang an immediate right.
I’ve been praying and keeping in contact with two of our church ‘nurse’ friends Joe Bartone (Yuko), at the State Hospital in Middletown and Jenn Gaston at Apple Rehab in Colchester. Both are safe, exhausted, and experiencing God’s peace in their heart every day. They long for your prayers. There is unimaginable chaos in the hospitals. There is a lot of fear in the nursing home residents. “But we have the peace of the Lord. God is good” – Jenn.
Our church received a very sweet handwritten letter from some ACTIVE ladies ‘in pandemic lockdown’ at Harrington Court, Colchester. “Please send us donations of leftover materials, quilting supplies, cards, and stationary… we need something to do!” Can you help them?
